We started Canadian Travel Insurance Review after searching for travel insurance for our family. After many hours on the web, we became frustrated by the lack of clear, unbiased information comparing travel insurance for Canadians.
Most of the websites out there are in the business of selling travel insurance for a specific company. They don’t provide reviews of specific travel insurance companies, and don’t let you compare travel insurance companies side by side.
Canadian Travel Insurance Review was created to provide comprehensive, informative and unbiased reviews of travel insurance companies.
We do not sell travel insurance on this site, and we think that’s a good thing. Because we don’t specifically sell one type of insurance, we can provide unbiased reviews of the different Canadian travel insurance companies. Please see our Disclaimer.
As frequent travellers, we know the importance of good travel insurance first hand. While we’ve never had a life-threatening health emergency (knock on wood) we have had to deal with the claims process numerous times. We (luckily) had a good insurance policy, and didn’t have to pay a dime out of pocket. Our goal with the site is to help you make an informed, fair choice when choosing travel insurance in Canada.
